Add files to a workspace

Open Files and choose Upload, or drag files from your computer onto the page. Upload progress appears while Kryptonote saves each file. If you do not have a workspace yet, Kryptonote creates one when you upload the files.

You can also paste, drag, or attach files in Chat. A chat attachment belongs to that conversation until you choose Copy to workspace.

Manage files

Files shows your uploads and the agent outputs you chose to save. Agents may keep their own working files between conversations. Those files do not appear here unless the agent presents them to you.

  • Rename a file without downloading and uploading it again.
  • Download a local copy whenever you need one.
  • Select several files to download or delete them together.
  • Delete files you no longer want in the workspace.

Kryptonote asks for confirmation before deleting a file. Download a copy first if you may need it later.

Use files in a conversation

Attach only the files relevant to the request. Agents have an easier time with a few useful files than a folder of unrelated documents.

Kryptonote shows attachments alongside the message that introduced them. Generated files can be opened in the artefact pane, downloaded, or copied into the active workspace.

Handle files carefully

Only upload material you have permission to process. Do not upload secrets or sensitive information that an AI provider should not receive. Check generated documents before sharing or publishing them.
