Open workspace settings

Choose the workspace name in the app header, then select Workspace settings. You can also open Workspace settings from the app navigation.

Settings apply only to the active workspace. Check the workspace name in the header before changing memory, permissions, or skills.

Name and icon

Edit the name directly in the Name field. Kryptonote saves it when you press Enter or leave the field. Open the Icon field to choose an icon from the visual picker.

The name and icon appear in the workspace menu. Changing them does not affect the workspace's files, conversations, or memory.

Memory

Workspace memory keeps facts available across conversations in the same workspace. You can add a memory yourself. When memory is on, Kryptonote can also save useful details after one hour without activity.

  • Turn memory off to stop using and learning workspace memories.
  • Edit or correct a memory when its wording is incomplete or wrong.
  • Open its history to review earlier versions.
  • Forget a memory when it should no longer affect future conversations.
Memory belongs to one workspace. It does not carry into another workspace when you switch.

Models and permissions

The Models section selects the model agents use for image generation. Image generation depends on your plan.

Permissions control whether agents can search the web and whether Kryptonote warns before opening another site.

  • Web Search can ask first, run without asking, or remain blocked.
  • External link warning controls whether Kryptonote warns before opening another site.

Your model or plan may still block an action allowed by the workspace setting.

Skills

Skills give agents instructions for specialised work. Select a skill to enable or disable it for the active workspace. Search narrows the list when many skills are available.

Use Add skill to import a Markdown file or ZIP archive. Open an imported skill's menu to review its source details, replace it, or remove it from the workspace.

Review imported skills before enabling them, especially when they contain scripts or request access to tools.

Danger zone

The Danger zone is at the bottom of the page. Deleting a workspace also deletes its files and other saved data. Kryptonote asks for confirmation first.

Download anything you may need before deleting the workspace. This action cannot be undone.
