What belongs in a workspace
Use a workspace for one project, subject, client, or course. This keeps its files and conversations out of unrelated work.
- Source files and references
- Chat threads and their attachments
- Generated artefacts you decide to keep
- The name and icon you use to recognise the project
Create and switch workspaces
Use the workspace menu in the header to see the active workspace and switch to another one. The Files and Chat areas follow that selection, so check the workspace name before uploading or starting an important thread.
The same menu lets you create a workspace or open Workspace settings, where you can rename the workspace, change its icon, or delete it.
When to create another workspace
Name the project, not the tool
Names such as "History dissertation" or "Product launch" remain useful as the work changes. Names such as "PDF chat" describe only one temporary step.
Split when the context stops overlapping
Keep files together while they inform the same decisions. Create another workspace when the sources, audience, or intended result no longer overlap.
Deleting a workspace
Deleting a workspace also deletes its files. Download anything important first. Kryptonote asks for confirmation before it deletes the workspace.
