Kryptonote can suggest, generate, and tidy things up for you, but your choices come first.
If you make a deliberate change, Kryptonote should treat that as the new truth. It should not quietly undo it later just because the AI thinks it has a better idea.
Notebook names
Kryptonote may generate a notebook title when you first add sources. If you rename the notebook yourself, that manual title should be respected.
Adding more sources later should not cause Kryptonote to rename the notebook behind your back.
Notebook icons
You can choose a notebook icon. Once you set it, the app should use your choice instead of constantly reinterpreting the notebook.
Sources
You decide what goes into a notebook. Chat can create useful files, summaries, research notes, and web search results, but generated outputs do not become notebook sources unless you ask for that.
This keeps the notebook from slowly filling itself with things you did not mean to rely on.
Web access
Web access has controls. You can allow it, deny it, or require approval depending on how you want a response to work.
When approval is required, Kryptonote should ask before searching the web or reading a page. If you deny the request, it should continue with the notebook and what it already knows.
Preferences
Your preferences are yours: model defaults, thinking mode, personality, fonts, chat spacing, code wrapping, podcast length, and web access defaults.
These settings are there so Kryptonote fits the way you work, not so every notebook has to be handled the same way forever.
Experiments
Experiments are opt-in controls for trying early features. If an experiment feels unhelpful or unstable, turn it off.
Experimental features may change, but the point of the Experiments page is still choice: you decide whether you want the rougher early version or the standard experience.
Deleting things
Destructive actions should be explicit. Deleting a notebook, source, thread, podcast, or workspace file should require a clear action from you.
If you are unsure, pause before deleting. Kryptonote is designed to help you make things, not surprise you by removing them.
A good rule of thumb
If Kryptonote generated it, you can revise it. If you named it, picked it, saved it, or deleted it, Kryptonote should respect that.
